A knee length silk chiffon kimono with artwork by artist Emily Trindall.
Superbly light and soft to the touch. Featuring 3/4 length sleeves and a matching sash tie it's the perfect piece for layering and an elegant way to dress up a simple outfit, to protect one's shoulders from the sun or the chill of the evening. They're the perfect gift and an excellent travel companion - they take no space at all.
Each kimono is unique - the print is placed differently on each kimono, so the appearance of each may vary from the one pictured.
All kimonos are gift-wrapped.
Size: One Size, generous kimono jacket in 100% silk chiffon, a natural, warm but breathable fibre.
Fabric: 100% Silk Chiffon, the softest kimono you will ever wear. The material is a 100% natural fibre sourced from different woods so it is breathable, warm and yet will not overheat.
Care: Dry-clean or wash by hand in mild detergent and dry flat, out of direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.
About the artwork
"This artwork is called Narooma - a word associated with blue water and running water. I wanted to celebrate the mountains and water, and simply display how significant they are to our people. The water runs through the center of the artworks, as it is the center of many dreaming stories and was such an integral part of our ancestor's life's who lived tribally. The stones run along the sides of the river and symbolise the many boulders and rocks that lay on the creek beds around the Gundugurra region. Along the top are camp circles that were often set up along the life giving river."
