The Highland Cow has been a very popular addition to the Omersa family, and is now available in four sizes.  This is second in the family, the Standard highland cow, with a hand cut fringed leather hair and expansive horns.  It can be used as an ottoman or footstool, or simply as a conversational/decorative piece in any room.

Omersa offer this piece stained in their traditional mahogany brown and unstained in a colour very similar to the Highland Cow. Please note, there is always a degree of colour variation between batches of leather supplied so the unstained colour may vary slightly to the picture shown. The unstained piece is wax polished to help prevent marking. Further coats of wax should be applied once in the home.

Shipping: the width of the horns means we have to pack in a very large box, with a consequent higher than usual shipping cost included in our pricing.

  • Constructed out of top grain “unfinished” cowhide leather which will develop natural scuff marks reflecting the wear and tear of life.
  • Each piece is hand stained a deep mahogany brown which is then waxed and polished.
  • Due to the nature of cowhide and the animals' hand-built internal structure, each piece is never the same, giving every piece a unique expression and shape.
  • Made to order exclusively for Hunt.

NB: Each piece is made to order, please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.
