"Tinkkarli (Lake Mary Ann) in Tennant Creek is an oasis for locals and visitors alike. It is a magical place at any time of the day, but at dusk, there is a special quality and a sense of stillness that you feel when sitting looking over the water and off into the expansive sky. The intensity of the colour is a specialty of duck in central Australia."
