Blunt x Ellen Porteus Metro Umbrella
Ellen Porteus is a Melbourne-based artist whose eternally youthful and bad-ass feminist style has been chosen to grace the canopy of Blunt's latest limited edition umbrella.
Inspired by mysterious jungle landscapes paired with Ellen’s distinct use of glossy, tubular lines and contrasting colour, this design is a colourful eruption of foliage and hidden creatures.
Featured on BLUNT's collapsible Metro model, this umbrella also comes with a matching cover sleeve to protect the beautiful pattern.
With 100cm coverage, the Metro is perfectly sized to give you coverage while not taking up too much street space. The Metro's auto-open canopy easily opens with the push of a button, and collapses and slides neatly into the carry sleeve. At 37.5cm in length, you can whip your BLUNT out of your handbag or briefcase whenever the weather acts up.
Size: 37.5 cm Length (Closed)
100 cm Diameter (Open)
Weight: 385 grams
Wind tested up to 88 km/h
Blunt derives its name from the clever fact that there are no sharp points at the edge of the canopy, making it super safe as you wander the streets, feeling safe and dry.
Every BLUNT umbrella features patented BLUNT Tips that form an integral part of its unique Radial Tensioning System (RTS). A system that redirects, transfers and distributes the effort used in opening the umbrella throughout its entire canopy surface. This revolution in umbrella design creates an aerodynamic robust canopy structure, making BLUNT umbrellas the ultimate defence against the elements.
