Holds the Key!

This lovely soft key case solves all those key dilemmas. We put our most-used keys, like the chunky car key and house key, onto the outside ring. All the other keys are tucked away inside the zip pouch, attached to another sturdy ring on a leather thong.

If you don't need so much key capacity, it is also useful as a coin purse, and our illustrious founder Mrs H puts her drivers licence in when she heads to the pool in the early mornings.

The bright colours mean it's visible inside a black hole-type handbag, and having most of your keys tucked away keeps them quiet and off the dashboard of your car when driving. (This can be important if, like one family member, you have a very precious dashboard that you'd like to protect).

Antonini leather goods are made to our specifications, in the hills outside Florence.

This family firm uses only the softest Italian calf leather, a completely supple, fine-grained leather in gorgeous colours. The Antoninis are true craftsmen and women, specialists in their unique form of small leathergoods construction, using few or no linings and hand-turning the edges of each piece of leather. As well as the softness, we love the vibrant colours and of course, love the fact that they are still made by the Antonini family in such a lovely part of the world.

It really is a family firm - with the second generation now involved, based in a small village, with their workshop at the rear of the family house, horses out the front, and hills all around. We have visited the workshop several times, and though there is not much English spoken by the older generation, and our Italian is quite rudimentary, it is really a pleasure to know the Antonini family and to have their beautiful products in our stores.
